This application receives, translates and maps the standard 835 Healthcare Claim Payment Advice (ERA) into client specific service codes for auto-posting of all transaction types. AccuPost complements Summit by accurately deciphering payments and adjustments, which drive patient accounting workflow. By clearly defining the 835 mapping routines, hospitals can significantly reduce the opportunity cost of inappropriate or unnecessary follow-up efforts.

MD-X works with clients to establish a seamless data flow process. MD-X takes on the responsibility of all implementation tasks, including:

MD-X walks clients through the 835-registration process - from registration form completion &
submission to receipt & testing of 835 data files.

MD-X coordinates the electronic funds transfer (EFT) process between payer and provider
banks or depository financial institutions (DFIs).

MD-X works with management to establish the appropriate mappings and accounting practices
that are required to automate the posting process.

Prior to moving the process to production, MD-X runs AccuPost in parallel to manual posting
efforts to ensure mappings and routines are loaded properly to avoid inappropriate AR
inflation/deflation.
